What do I sign in with?
Your wallet is the entire login. No email or password exists.
Is gas required to take part?
Only when uploading captures. You can browse open bounties without any.
Does submitting a capture cost me anything?
No. The requester's platform fee covers reconstruction, so the contributor never pays for it. The contributor is paid the posted reward only; the fee stays with Utopia.
What does it cost to post a bounty?
The reward you set plus a 10% platform fee, paid together at funding. A $50 bounty requires a $55 deposit: $50 into escrow for the winner and $5 kept by Utopia as revenue. The contributor does not receive the fee. Nothing more is billed later; reconstruction is included in the fee.
How long until my capture is reconstructed?
Expect 30 minutes at minimum; longer or more complex captures take more time.
Will the requester ever see my original video?
No. What they get is the completed 3D model. Your raw footage never leaves your side.
Is it possible to cancel a bounty after posting it?
Yes, right up until you accept a submission. Should the deadline expire with no accepted submission, the escrowed reward comes back to you through the same channel you funded it with. The 10% platform fee is taken at funding and is not returned.
At what point does a contributor get paid?
Utopia releases the reward the instant your submission is accepted.
What do points do?
Points track how much you have contributed to the network and where you rank in it. They exist independently of bounty rewards.
