Utopia

A verifiable, people-captured spatial data layer that gives physical AI its missing ground-level view.

For physical AI, the view that matters most is the one from street level, which is also the one nobody collects. Satellite imagery stops at the rooftop. Mapping fleets record only the roads they are permitted to drive. A courtyard, an underpass, a depot aisle or the interior of a warehouse appears in neither.

That gap is the layer Utopia captures. Anyone with an ordinary phone can contribute by recording short videos, and those videos become 3D reconstructions. When an organization needs a specific place on record, it posts a bounty, funds it, and waits for a contributor to go capture it.

The moment a capture is recorded it receives a fingerprint: a hash of the content together with a coarse location and a timestamp. Fingerprints are collected into batches, and each batch root is anchored on a public ledger. A buyer can therefore check any capture independently instead of taking it on trust. That independence is precisely what makes crowd-captured data suitable for training pipelines and for procurement.

Two roles #

Contributors

Film the places around you, take on open bounties and earn rewards.

Organizations

Fund bounties for the locations you need, review what comes in and accept a submission.

Where to start #

The entry point for everything is , and from there you pick one of two paths. Contributors choose Capture data, which launches the capture app at . Organizations choose Buy data, which takes them to data.utopiadata.net.
