How points track your standing in the network, and why bounty rewards are paid in money on a separate track.
Points #
When Utopia itself wants coverage of particular places, it posts bounties of its own. These behave exactly like ordinary bounties except in what they pay: points instead of money.
You earn the points once your capture has been processed successfully. Uploading alone does not award them.
Your points reflect two things: how much you have contributed to the network, and where you rank within it.
Wallet #
You sign in with your wallet. It displays your points, your rank, and every bounty reward recorded against your address.
Bounty rewards #
A bounty reward is money, and it sits entirely apart from points. Once a requester accepts your submission, the payout comes from Utopia.
